Nanoceramic resin blocks with a blue mandrel are compatible with open milling machines using Cerec-type devices: Lyra Carestream and Roland DWX50. Material properties: Functionality: wear resistance equal to enamel. Flexural strength: >200 MPa (twice that of feldspathic ceramic). Excellent esthetics similar to ceramic. Excellent polishability and gloss retention thanks to ceramic nanoclusters. Intraoral repair is possible with direct restorative composites (e.g., Filtek Supreme XTE). Available in various shades with different translucency. Indications: Inlays/onlays. Veneers. Better absorption of occlusal forces than metal or ceramic – tooth-like feel for the patient. High mechanical strength for implants. High flexural strength of 200 MPa. It is less brittle than ceramic and will not break. Monolithic – does not chip. Wears like a natural tooth.
